Twice each quarter you can go in and update your profile and get 1,000 points each time. It doen't count days or anything like that, so if you went in September 30 twice (assuming you didn't do it in July or August or September) you would get 2,000 points, and if you went back in the next day, October first, and did it twice more, you would get another 2,000 points.
