Ok my problem is, it's been almost 2 years that I have Citi Bank Premier Pass Elite Level card. I fly to Asia a lot so I get tons of flight points. After my trip for couple of weeks all the flight points will get transfered to my thank you network automatically.
This year, I got about 40000 flight points that didn't get transfer to thank you network. I called them up and they said for every purchase points I make they will also transfer flight points to thank you network.
It does not seem right to me, it means that I have to make a purchase of 40,000 USD before they transfer those flight points to thank you network.
But for the last 2 years I didn't have to do any huge purchase to get flight points transfered!
Help!!!!
Yeah, that's the way it's always worked. You might not have noticed this policy in the past because bonus points (e.g. enrollment bonuses) count as spend points. I suggest you threaten to cancel the card in hopes of getting a retention offer with a higher earning multiple. Shortly after I received such an offer, I quickly cleared all of my unmatched flight points and now face the opposite problem (for which there are a number of easy solutions).
