Interesting experiences here. I'm an EU citizen taking my two AU-only kids into the EU permanently (Finland). I also pondered which counter to go through. I suppose it will be the non-EU lane, even if I "belong" in the EU lane, because they're generally not allowed into Finland without a return ticket. It puts them into an odd paradox really. They are permitted into Finland to join a resident parent who is an EU citizen - so technically, they're not allowed through until I'm already through. It will be an interesting experience at least.
