I won the gate lottery last night and got an upgrade at the gate on the SEA-JFK redeye. This morning I went up to the Sky Club, but was told that I could not enter as my upgrade had cleared at the gate and not at the window. I had never heard of this. Is this part of the normal policy?
I take this flight often and gain access to the SC's in JFK with my V-class upgraded Boarding Pass each morning with no problem. Some agents are not up to date on the transcon first-class admittance policy yet, ask to speak with a supervisor if necessary.
