QKL-SPX ICE/Eurostar OW 7/12/09 for EUR 55 ea
I don't get Eurostar pricing. I'm planning to rent a car at FRA for a few days and driving around the Rhine Valley. I was considering dropping the car off in Brussels, but the fares from Brussels to London (my next destination) are ridiculous.
RailEurope offered one-way fares of $700 and higher (for 3 people). Eurostar's own website wanted less (don't remember exactly but I think it was around $150pp.)
Checked bahn.de and they have a "Europe Spezial". Booked at EUR 165 for 3, all in from Cologne Hbf to London. Total travel time is around 4 hours. Got a 6 hour stopover to look around Brussels too.
