I also like the idea of a connecting flight from PDX on a 737. I wish they could do something similar with OAK.

He's seeing an AUS-SEA-SJC connection for $428+ OW. I'm guessing it's a point-to-point fare as there are options w/AA codeshares that are about half the price.

** I was right. Did a "dummy booking" and got 2 fare basis codes AUS-SEA and SEA-SJC.
