what bugs me about the overhead space is that on some of the UX flights (Mesa or Skywest), I've noticed that crew luggage takes up quite a bit of the space in and around the F 'cabin'. This does not seem to be a problem on Gojet operated flights, however.

It is tough on 700's; half the F cabin has no underseat storage, and there are no bins on the port side of the F cabin.
