Newly Converted Hotel Represents the Fourth Homewood Suites by Hilton Hotel in California

NEWARK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 31, 2002--Homewood Suites® by Hilton, the national brand of upscale all-suite, residential-style hotels, today announced the addition of the 192-suite Homewood Suites by Hilton hotel in Newark, Calif., to the brand's growing roster of more than 100 hotels. The franchised Homewood Suites by Hilton Newark is owned by Newark Hotel Development Venture, LP and is managed by Pacific Hotel Management, LLC.

Formerly a Hawthorne Suites, the Homewood Suites by Hilton Newark is located at 39270 Cedar Boulevard. The hotel only had to undergo minimal improvements to meet the high standards of the Homewood Suites by Hilton system.
