It is difficult to buy anything if you are not the card holder. I cannot use my daughter's card to purchase groceries or dry goods. Any time I have to provide my ID when using her card, it is declined. I have no trouble buying gasoline or using her ATM. Direct sales however, is difficult. Businesses do not like to permit someone who is not the card holder from using the card to purchase things.
