Good idea. Not quite sure what I might end up with - either 19/20 or 22".

Not familiar with this line, I hope others will have something to say. It has received good reviews at ebags. Its list price is $180, whereas Platinum5's is $540, whatever that tells us; their current sale prices at ebags are $89 and $119 respectively. The latter is expandable. So on paper at least the Plat5 would seem to be better value, although the Xtreme could be just fine. Heck, get both! Combined shipping should be pretty reasonable. Thanks. I saw the bag yesterday when it was on sale, was about to purchase it but then figured out that eBags doesn't ship to Europe. You'd have to have it sent to a mail forwarding company which charges some serious $$ for shipping.. Oh well. My saga for my new carry-on continues .

Thanks!
