Ever thought maybe the FA is having problems and hence their lack of service towards you? If he seemed embarassed as you suggest, he would have tried harder to make up for the mess up. Something doesn't ad up.

God the whining. I actually pay for my tickets my self, as opposed to most corporate travellers and I travel in a golf shirt, chinos/jeans and skate shoes and yeah stuff sometimes happens like that but I don't care or whine about.

Yes the BA F is very much the old boys club and there are better airlines, but then why do you care?
I'm curious - why give such an aggressive response. If you don't like a thread why not just ignore it?
