This is situation. I have credit with Continental for $757.00 for a flight I did not take. I need to fly from ATL to SFO on Sunday, June 21. I called Continental to see how I could use that credit. The lady had me access my credit through my account. At that web site there was a one-way flight on June 21 for $179.60. I had to pay the $250 change fee in cash. I paid $179.60 for the flight and Continental says they will refund the remaining $577.60 in a travel certificate.
My concern is that you paid too much for the change fee. I thought the change fee was $150 for domestic and $250 for international?
