I like this roller as well . I've sent them an email if they'd ship to The Netherlands.
You're most welcome!

There are several resources that you might have seen already but I just want to name the biggest ones:

-Bergman(n) luggage
-luggageonline
-luggagebase
-irv's
-ebags

Irv's and Bergman are smaller but sometimes have really good deals. While they all have a similar assortment of goods, the prices do vary and so might the shipping policies. It is very much worth it to comparison shop. I have shopped with all of them and everything went smoothly for all of them. Not a single complaint from me.

I agree that paying $50 shipping on a $120 piece of luggage seems like a lot. But you have to figure that this is only so low because they are discontinuing the Plat5 series. So you are still getting a really good deal.

You might also want to look into availability opf the Landor and Hawa roller. See here:
http://www.1bag1world.com/blog/2009/...st-roller.html

It is supposed to be the lightest roller out there.

Make sure you read www.onebag.com for tips and tactics on packing. You might well be able to do with the 18 incher you already have.
