www.flightstats.com has information from 1 January 2005 on. Just do a search by flight, by typing the flight number and date, and you'll get the scheduled aircraft type. Chances are it was the actual one, although the information is a bit vague: Airbus 320 (no further details) or even Airbus 318/319/320/321.
