Hello boys & girls,

I'm making my way out to Houston for Pride this year...never spent much time in the area...Festival/Parade is in the Montrose neighborhood. So some basic questions:

Does Houston have a "gayborhood"? Is this area it?
Any suggested hotels in the 4 star/5 star zone? Any hotels in the area of Pride?

The Pride Website is really sparse on ANY kind of arrangements of transportation/lodging, so I guess lots of people don't come in for it, but I really don't want to stay far away, and drinking & driving is a big no-no.
