I had a very similar problem with a confirmed reward ticket from Air France that I had obtained from Continental.
They day before I was to leave, I tried to print my itinerary and noticed my Air France segments gone, as if they did not exist. Apparently, the Continental office could see them when I called. I was glad that I was gold elite. It took over 2 1/2 hours to get the mess strightened out. Continental had to work a whole different routing because Air France "wasn't available."
If anyone has reward tickets involving Air France, I would be very careful. I had just reconfirmed my flights with Continental and Air France about two days before. Air France just walked away from it like they had nothing to do with it. I had the Air France reservation number and everything. I never did get a good explanation. I was just happy that Continental got me another routing.
Needless to say, I won't fly Air France again, even if the tickets are free.
