The stupid, unnecessary idiocy regarding shoes, liquids, and carryons have nothing to do with better security and are simply harassment.
Until these stupid rules and the idiots who made them are sacked, T5 and other transfers will be slow and for no good reason.
BA should be howling for DfT's blood, as should American carriers for TSA's hide.
