I've booked this hotel for 3 nights over next w/e (26.6.09). I've got a couple of questions....
I've used this forum, and booked the F&F rate. I thought I would be charged, but haven't yet. Do I need any extra documentation for the F&F rate? Will I be able to use my BOGO cert for one of the nights?
Also, i've booked a club sea & golf view room. What should I expect for my ambassador upgrade?
I will be at this place this summer as well, so I can give you some information.
For the F&F rate you have to bring the F&F voucher, filled in with the name of the reffering ICHG employee (Name and property).
No, BOGOS (normaly) are not accepted combinded with this rate.
It may not harm to just give it a try upon check-in.
Also upgrades are no guaranteed privilige with this rate, regardless of your status. As I´ve had contact in advance examining about my upgrade (fully paid rate, RA) I just can recommend you not to do the same. The offered me just the normal RA upgrade and were not very open to any other friendly requests.
It may be different if one´s use their charming approach when checking in.
Normal one level upgrade (if granted because of the f&f) would be a "sea & golf view junior suite" w/o lounge access.
