I sent an e-mail to the American Way folks suggesting that they condense the crossword puzzle to the entire left-hand page instead of wrapping the clues to the facing page.

I never heard back.

Does anyone else find the layout a bit difficult for in-flight solving, with the limited tray-table space for a fully open magazine, or the need to keep flipping the magazine if you try to fold it and hold it in front (as I do--and everyone I've seen does--with sudoku)?
