Writing this from the JFK Sky Club Lounge...I tried searching but couldn't find the answers, so I apologize if this has been answered before.

I am flying on NW ticket stock, DL flights tomorrow from BOS-YYZ via JFK. It looks like I won't make it for the BOS-JFK flight at 14:14 #186. There is a later shuttle flight at 17:19, #1699 that gets into JFK at 19:10, but apparently that is not a legal connection to my JFK-YYZ flight that departs at 19:40.

Do you think they will let me get on the later shuttle flight (1699) when I get to BOS? It looks to be a wide open flight as of now. I don't have any bags, so I am hoping they will let me try "at my own risk" to make the connection at JFK as this is the last flight to YYZ of the day.

Anything I missing here?
