It's a shame you've had a run of bad luck but IMO this is atypical of BA today.
I've been finding staff to be appreciative of customers' business and apologetic for things not being as they should. I was half expecting morale dipping to turn into couldn't-care-less-ism in recent months but I've found it to be the exact opposite.
Considering the consistent message of doom and gloom BA crew are receiving (work for free anyone?), I find that truly incredible.
