Just another question...

As I will technically be a silver member on arrival in Dubai from CHC (the points from that flight will take me to silver) does anyone know if my connecting flight DXB-FRA will be under the silver regulations therefore earning miles at the 1.25/mile rate? Or is there some processing time meaning that I won't be seen as a Silver member straight away?! It should be immediate right?
