Reading about this MR confirms again that I'm not the only person who does things that my husband considers "irrational, crazy, stupid, and purposeless."
He worked as a senior exec for an international firm and always flew first class and so didn't have a clue about FF programs despite all that I'd told him. Now that he's retired and flies so little that he ends up paying for E+, I'm suddenly brilliant on the matter.

Ten years ago I did IAD-SFO-NRT-SEL [at that time] and return for my 50th birthday -- more time in the air than on the ground over there and I loved every minute and every nautical mile.
