A follow-up on OP's question: I am also meeting my friend landing NRT on a different flight, but both flights are for terminal 1 and scheduled to land at around the same time. Is it possible to meet airside? I remember when exiting the plane, there is a smoking room in the central bldg, and we are contemplating meeting there. Is it a feasible solution?
