Faced with the decision to spend 100,000 points on a 6 night stay for a special occasion, would you chose HHV or Hilton Cancun? I'm currently holding an ALON reservation at HHV, but have been advised by the hotel directly that an upgrade at no cost will be "unlikely" on the dates involved. Reading the current thread on the Cancun Hilton, the prospects of an upgrade sound more promising (especially one of those junior suites with the hot tub on the balcony). The airfare to Cancun is also significantly lower. I've never been to either place, so would appreciate any thoughts.
