I wouldn't recommend to rely on the BA price promise. If the expedia price is real, it is 99% certain to be a non-published fare. That will void the price promise AFAIK. Even if that isn't a problem, it is likely that not all T&Cs are the same, which is also a reason to reject any price promise claim.
