if they downgrade u can u ask AC to charge u J points instead and change the entire trip to J???

SQ staff are really by the book..... give u 2 examples....

1. my couz works as ground staff at HKG....she told me... no one can dictate who gets upgraded with SQ..... its all determined by a computer through booking class / status or station manager approval.

2. my dad booked 2 Fs (himself / my mom) between SIN-LHR and had to cancel one....a portion of the mileage was to expire.... and they deliberately place it on my dad's cancelled ticket instead being utilized on my mom's ticket.... he's PPS so he went up and down, called in and wrote in to complaint..... but no meant no....

so long story short.... the chances of them bending the rules is next to none.
