Applied for DH MC/Amex on Thursday. He had previously been approved for both on March 28th (kept notice) so waited a bit longer than the 60+ days. Got to last step to call up. Knew that was a good sign (not the "don't call us, we'll contact you). He called up Saturday and was told to watch for both cards... sweet. Know there's been a few hits on his experion file since the March application but not don't think it's been more than 5. Once the cards come we'll cancel the old ones. DH's not too comfortable about the # of credit cards we have but since he hasn't had a flight in almost 6 months is willing to go along w/this. Will be ordering some "coins from mint" as soon as the cards arrive.
