I don't want to continue this unnecessarily, but you made the point that IHG had made this a standard in Holiday Inns, qualifying it by saying 'at least North America'.
I'd just make the point that IHG is a UK company operating internationally, with a huge number of hotels both within and outside North America. It really is high time that IHG ensured complimentary internet access across the brands, problems with franchisees or not.
