Hey Luis, you plough the route HKG-CDG and have never used AF???

As mentioned above, they use lie-flat new seats (NEV2 or NEV3), both versions are fairly similar, with marginal improvements on NEV3 (foot stop). I find NEV3 slightly better than TG lie-flat seat. Nothing like a flat seat (as BA, SQ, CX,..), but a decent lie-flat.
IFE should be a modern version with many films, but that is only 90% sure. But IFE has improved on AF in terms of selection and reliability (was a very weak point).
CX has a much better product on the 74A, but a bit more expensive. All other options require a stopover.

Regarding fares, you should call AF as fares keep changing (for the best). As you know they have a ZHK2RT, Z fare at HKD28768 flexible with no penalty for change or refund, valid 3 days to 3 months. Allmost similar price as than their <1 month Z fare, but more flexible. However, might be costly to change to another fare if you need to stay more than 3 months and you allready used the outward segment. Ask them. Same for infant.
A local TA can probably get a slightly different fare with slightly different conditions.
Note that there is currently a great fare on SQ biz for around HKD24000 (SQ J does not compare to AF or TG). But seems less than a month.
