Changing diapers on the AC floor

So this morning, I'm in the AC at BNA and there is a large family with a toddler in the club as well. They are moderately loud, and the child has made a HUGE mess with muffins and cookies, but aside from feeling sorry for the staff who has to clean that up, I figure that's really not my problem. Then the mom and dad bring the child over to within maybe 5 feet of where I'm sitting (away from the rest of their family, mind you), put it on the floor and proceed to change a smelly poopy diaper. I made no comment, but did get up and move. However, I was subjected to comments from the mom (sotto voice) like "we're almost done. we're leaving anyway. people are so uptight. she just prissed away, etc." Now, I will admit as a childless professional, I am not the most kid friendly person in the world, and that there was a little bit of stink eye on my part as I moved because, well, it was a crap-filled diaper, but *come on*. I don't want to see or smell your child's poop when there are adequate bathroom facilities nearby. I certainly don't think that is deserving of snide comments because I choose to move my seat.

Thoughts?
