on the 27th nov 2008 at john wayne airport, the tsa guy xxxx who is the supervisor claimed they only accept us issued drivers licence and refuse to accept my australian or asian issued driver's licence. When i told AA at the lounge, they said the tsa guy was wrong.

Lots of us travellers use only first and last name. If you want us to list middle name, the tsa sure is asking for trouble especially with the banks as most of us use credit cards to pay for tickets and a look at the bp, plus a look at the wallet = credit card fraud. Try arguing with TSA when they insist on you being away from the wallet and you get agents who try to do unnecessary checks onto you for questioning them.

If its international, i can understand the reason but not for us domestic flights.
