Bad news: still bleeding red ink. They burned through a bunch of cash.
Good news: costs are WAY down. They are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel: VX's Q1 09 CASM isn't too far off B6's for Q1 09.

Now it's basically a race to see if they can turn profits (and bump their revenue up) before they run out of cash (
Cranky Flier speculates SRB might need to write another cheque). The load factors for April and May mentioned in the press release are a positive sign, as is the fact that WiFi is fleet-wide.... but jet fuel prices are edging up again, so who knows how this will turn out?
I'll be rooting for them.
