Are there two rows each, and which ones are reserved for Elite Plus, leaving what for everyone else.

I find instead of showing the exit row as unavailable online check-in just shows the rows as non-existent.

Thank you
Check the seatmaps on the KLM website, linked trhough. You will find that the exit rows vary between the types and therefore selection can be tricky.

-300 (which are rapidly leaving the fleet now) has a single exit row (10), row 9 has no window seats but has more legroom. 10A and 10F are great for legroom!

-400 has two rows (11 and 12)

-700 has one exit row (10) NB I cannot confirm the seatmap as correct, not having flown the type yet.

-800 has two rows (12 and 14).

-900 has two rows (15 and 16).

Make sure you login to FB before OLCI and - in my experience - the exit rows will be highlighted with a yellow icon and a little 'e', showing availability for 0 euro for elites. Sometimes only row 12 is highlighted and row 11 only has the little 'e' indicating exit row. This may happen when they aren't sure of using a -400 or -800 (I have found this to be the case with the LHR routes).

No guarantee that you will have an exit row as they can change between the types at short notice.

They will usually fill the exit rows so that there are people to operate the doors in case of an emergency. So if you want a better chance of an empty middle seat next to you, don't select the exit rows - or fly LH C class :-)

There is no guarantee as such therefore, PE can try and get these seats for free, other people have to pay but in practice will usually sit there as a result of random seat assignments by the computers and without paying.

OT: the 'new' KLC F70s (recently arrived ex AF) have a huge amount of legroom in row 11, as the seat pitch for the other 16 rows seems to be less than the normal KLC configuration.
