i have been in the same situation before but with AA. I called them and they couldn't change it. I was then advised by someone on the inside that if i keep on calling back and speak to different people and explain what happened, as long as it was on my credit card there might be someone who can change it for a fee.

Three managers later and £50 worse off, i had the name on the ticket changed.
