NW used to allow checkin up to 30 hrs in advance until TA forced them to move down to 24.

LH may offer checkin about 23 hours ahead of departure but only for the last flight of the leg.

So if your 1st flight leaves at T+0 and the connecting flight leaves at T+15, you can only do web checkin at T-8.
