Flew STL-MIA earlier this year (1068 miles). Of course, it was 3 stickers each way and my brother wanted me to upgrade him as well (I had stickers to spare), but it seemed silly to waste 6 stickers on such a relatively short flight. Now, for BOS-STL-BOS (a route I frequent), I get great value with the stickers and have bought stickers for this route specifically in the past. For 2 stickers, I get about 2.5 hours in F and a full hot meal (not Snack/Brunch or Refreshments) on every flight.
