Fuel Surcharge Refund on Redemption Cancellation
I did try a search although its not exactly my best strongest suit!!
Anyway been speaking with BA and basically made a First booking to Dubai with Amex241 last year. Come to cancel it and was told I will get the taxes back but not the fuel surcharge.
Is this accurate as I do not remember being told this on the phone when I booked it, in fact I believe I was told it could be cancelled without penalty outside 24 hours. It just seems amazing to me they keep the surcharge as I am not going to be on the plane so why do I need to pay the charge lol!
Just wondered if this has always been the case or if it has been introduced recently?
Thanks
Michael
