We are taking our first trip to New York City in July, and are flying into Newark on NW.

Does anyone have recommendations on transportation for ewr to Broadway/49th area? I think I would prefer a car versus the train/subway/bus optoins. But I am open to suggestions.

My question is, are there car services from EWR that charge a flat rate? There will be two of us.

I live in the Detroit area and we have airport cars (Metro Cars is the old name) that charge a flat rate based on where you are going. Cars are much nicer than taxis and the prices is within dollars of each other.

Suggestions/numbers would be greatly appreciated!

Will be arriving noonish in EWR and staying at the Crowne Plaza at Broadway and 49th.
