Another example of why the public should not be involved in compensation. Certain things that make business sense aren't as obvious to people not in the loop.
Ben, I know how you love these things, but it's totally normal. And fine, if it generates sales revenue or capital expenditure savings, and I'm certain that it does.

90k is the cost totaling up for 12 months of dues and expenses. This is separate from the initiation fee or membership fee which is most likely at least 50k-500k depending on the exclusivity of the club.
90k is high anyway you want to slice it for 12 months of "dues".
$90k in dues isn't all that high for a top-tier country club. I've seen worse.
