My general rule is to select the rearmost of the two exit row seats as in row 11 that swanhunter prefers. If these are full then go for seats that could be converted into CE seats (ahead of row7).

What irritates me is that if you book in CE you can't select row 11... as swanhunter says, this is the best row available. So I wonder why I never book CE?
