Well the option does NOT exist, so that is what there is. Personally, I would find it extremely distasteful if I were forced to blow $1500 in a ten year period because it is thought that I travel too much. For that matter it would be unitive against those who travel to Russia often (for example) as the Russians tend to issue shorter term visas, which are quite expensive in any case.

Mr H:

Perhaps you do not understand because your logic on this has been somewhat flawed and I have been unfortunately trying to countenance your logic. 747 said:

"South Africa and Kenya are the only two countries (that I am aware of at least) that insist on having blank pages upon arrival."

Which is a fact and an answer to the OP.

You stated, "The list of countries that have full page visas is extensive and I resume they would all require blank pages to stamp or stick the visa."

You made no mention of whether you were speaking about VOA's or any other sort of visa (also in the case of VOA's somewhat culturally arrogant, as just because a US or UK citizen MIGHT be allowed to do VOA in some countries, this does NOT mean that every nationality can in fact get VOA's). I pointed this out.

You then made it about VOA countries that you know of, incidentally not the "extensive" list that you earlier spoke about, but rather a half dozen (as two are not the whole page visas that you spoke about), as you had again changed the goal posts. You claim there are many others, but only list Armenia as a possibility, dunno, last time I was there I just got a normal stamp....

Anyway, hard for me to make a "point" when you change your on definitions and what you are trying to prove. In any case there are TWO countries that require an empty page of most western travellers, to the point where airlines often will NOT let people on planes unless they have them (When fling to JNB from almost anywhere on almost every airline they have checked whether I have the pages necessary), in pretty much every other place, even those with VOA's an accomodation can normally be made, and anyone is free to change their amendment page(s) into "visa" pages.

"I have received full page visa stickers on arrival for Zimbabwe, Egypt, Indonesia and Cambodia; I have received half page arrival stickers in South Africa and Mozambique; I have received large visa rubber stamps on arrival in Lao PDR and Zambia. I know from others that you get full page visa stickers on arrival from plenty of other countries - Armenia springs to mind."
