If you've looked at the mileage run forum tonight, you'll see there are some fantastic low $200ish fares on DL to Europe this summer. As great as they are, even better is if you qualify for the new route bonuses. A $237 all in JFK-ZRH roundtrip, for example, could net you about 33,000 miles (8000 BIS miles, + 10,000 route bonus + 15,000 AMEX bonus)!

The question I always have with "exotic" DL bonuses is whether I'll actually get them. The 15,000 AMEX bonus feels like the most dubious to me. If I book a party of 4 on a participating route and charge it to an AMEX Skymiles card, the terms and conditions would suggest each member of the party gets an extra 15,000 miles. Given past performance, though, who actually thinks DL will voluntarily pony up these miles?
