As opposed to trying to get to 150k just for the SWU's what about booking a Z fare outright, or perhaps use your 1k status (which wil post well before Oct 24) and upgrade with miles/copay, or upgrade at checkin if you select your flight using seatcounter with plenty of NC available.

I think you can simplify this much more than trying to simply fly another 50k miles.
