I am biased, but I give DFW a big thumbs up!
For a large airport, parking is close and easy. Because of the layout, there is rarely any wait to get through security. Retail outlets are plentiful and their prices are competitive. Because of the (unique/odd) baggage claim layout, there is rarely congestion at the pick-up/drop-off curb or at the claim itself. Seven runways make congestion delays all but nonexistent (wx delays are another story). The airport itself has a top-of-the-line weather detection system and was the first in the U.S. to install a runway incursion lighting system.
It is big (bigger than Manhattan), but runs very well.
