JFK Connection "too risky" if I need to be somewhere next morning by 9?

So I have a dilemma but the though of flying PS on LAX-JFK is so tempting. For $10 more I can route LAS-LAX-JFK-IAD-PIT instead of LAS-SFO/LAX-PIT. Of course the first is more miles but that isn't my draw b/c 1K is a lock this year, however the thought of flying PS is the main draw.

More more info the flight would be on Sept 11th. I need to be in Morgantown (1h15m south of PIT) the next morning for a football game by 9am. UA serves Morgantown 3 times daily though I am not sure about Saturdays.

That said the flight times all allow longer type layovers. It looks something like:
LAS-LAX 620-720
LAX-JFK 845-1715
JFK-IAD 1900-2040
IAD-PIT 2200-2300

What do other FTers think? I know it will take me all day to get there but I've got the whole day off of work an do not need to be in PIT until 11pm that night to meet some family.
