I've just redeemed the 10,000 Hilton Hhonors points for 2,000 AAdvantage miles this morning. It worked like a charm. Didn't have any problems whatsoever.

I would check your account to make sure the points haven't already been deducted out of your account. If not, then try again. If so, then definitely call Customer Service.
