1) It takes a lot of personal futzing, even if you start with a hint here.

2) It doesn't work in every case, even if you do #1.

If someone takes you by the hand all the way to success on the board, it will show the lurkers where they have a problem. Game over. Do not pass Go. Do not collect FD.

Even if a finder takes an inquirer all the way offline, the inquirer might be a lurker. Guilty. (I am not a lurker.)

If a finder tries a found FD on an airline's own site, it also may alert the airline that it has a problem.
