Gosh..some strong feelings here! Good to know...Still, it would be a useful way for someone to communicate with the office/home on a 14-17 hr flight to Asia.

I guess, it wouldn't bother me particularly because I always have my noise-cancelling headset plugged into IFE or my iPod for the full 8-9 hours of the flight, whether I'm sleeping or not.
