Mr pschafer and I arrived in Europe a few days ago on an F award using UA points on SQ and LH (SYD-SIN-MUC). The SYD-SIN was only ever booked into C as 2 F seats never came available on SQ. At the airport, the SQ agent in the lounge and a UA agent on the phone worked together for at least 30 minutes to firstly release the F award seats (SQ) then re-issue our award tickets (UA) so we could be accommodated in F. New boarding passes were issued literally just as the flight closed. Nice customer service work from both SQ and UA.
